no honestly pau, everyone in arts want an honours degree but the day-to-day requirements are slack.

as long as you make sense in class, submit pwnsome asignments and last minute mug for exams, it is still very possible. and if you really want to mug very hard in FASS, you have a TON OF FREE TIME to do it.

which is why most people view FASS as the easiest/bimbo/himbo course, much to my chagrin. lol.

Well, actually whether uni is slack or not more or less depends on what kind of degree u wanna end up with la. If u really wanna have first class, second cls, mugging hard is a must i guess. For engine, i think its quite a competitive course, esp with all the international students. No choice la, i agree w mq, uni is quite stressful, full time mugging lor. Jc was much better. Now, even if i finish tutorials its not enough at all, still many extra practices to be done, but simply not enough time to do.

oh wow, mass com sounds fun! just as NUS law sounds like hell. mich, your course sounds really torturous! here, i have one midsessional exam that does not contribute toward my grade, and one final. i take 4 modules, and each module gives 1 assignment per semester = 2 a year! my tutorial are 1 hr per fortnight, which is really not enough, and the only time i sleep past 11pm, is when we're partying. why is NUS law so masochistic?

gaby-FASS is slack? i always had the impression that as long as you are in arts you have a lot of readings to complete.

lol at michelle.good luck for that paper then! in mass comm they have something like that too...you go for lessons at 8.30, they give you the qn and you must submit the essay by 5pm. also, depending on which group you are in(they have written and speech), the speech ppl get to stand up in front of their classmates and tell them Aesop fables every week haha. My friend shared her fables in English, Chinese, Malay and Hokkien! wax see how fun your course is =)

i only have one mid semester exam and two finals. but the other two modules that i'm taking have assignments throughout the whole year. one of them is called sls (singapore legal system) and i have 24 hours to do each of the 4 papers. so they assign us the qn online on SUNDAY 10 AM and we have to hand in HARD COPY by MONDAY 10 AM. yeah...great right? i have one next weekend... >.<
