All discussions/presentations we had to do were about economics, and i knew nuts (so i spoke in very simple english, while everyone else had fantastic, un-understandable jargon). and the very first round was horrible 'cause they asked me how to solve the US credit crisis and i was stumped. (the rounds were pretty gruelling, but very enjoyable.) but i think, in the end they were probably just won over by my dazzling smile ;) - they called almost immediately after the final interview =\ i thought it was a prank call. good luck to everyone else! qr, don't dispair! you've got a brain at least twice my capacity, if they dont pick you it's really their loss. and oh mq, can i bring my beloved colleague in on this shoe thing? btw girls, the annual Shoes and Bags Affair is here again at Ngee Ann City! Anyway, regarding the place in the liberal arts college, first of all, congrats for getting into such a great sch! I dunno much abt liberal arts college, so i think u gotta find someone to advise u on the value of the degree(maybe cjq can help?) But if u really think its an opportunity not to be missed, then go for it! U nv know how things might turn out a few years later. Perhaps if u decide to come back after tt, u can do a masters in singapore? Or if u get employed by a large mnc later on, u can seek for transfer back to singapore as well?(provided they have some regional base over here) Yup, so all the best! Miao Qin good luck, charm! :D i didn't get thru to that round... so can't help either :P QiuRong Thursday, April 03, 2008 didn't apply for EDB.. sorry cant help :/ sara- hey i'm not sure. he isn't back yet, most likely the shoes will come in cartons, with each carton having a certain amount of each size. sizes [United States i think] should range from 31 to 37 [that's for the current sports shoes we have now.] i'm not sure also if he'll let me sell individual shoes.. because it's more of a hassle to sell a few out of a carton [which shop will buy an incomplete carton?] Maybe if the total orders from you girls make up a carton or half a carton, it's easier. haha. anyway i'll ask him again. he's only returning in mid-April!
