post entry / upload photos Thursday, January 12, 2006 All righty, a quick introduction to the posting system, point-styled for easy digestion.
1) There's no need to sign off with your name, it's already automagically added to your entry once you've logged in and all :) Nick not exciting enough? Drop a comment or a post expositing your discontent and of course your new nick, and I'd get to changing it the moment I find time :) 2) To upload photos, you browse for the file, and then click "Send Pic!". A short HTML "img" tag corresponding to the image will be appended to the text box the moment you click that button. 3) Uploaded photos are magically too resized to 1024x768 if they're too big, ie >200kb. 4) To view the image in its full size and glory, just wait for all the images to finish loading, and then click on the image. A new window will pop up to display it in whatever resolution it is saved at on the server. 5) To save the full-sized image after you've opened it in it's own window, for Internet Explorer users, Right-Click and "Save Background As". For Firefoxers, Right-Click, "View Background Image", then Right-Click, "Save Image As". 6) To upload files, just upload it using the same mechanism :) But this time, there's no need to post anything, once you click "Send file" and when it's complete, it'd be automagically added to the 'files' list. By default, all password protected! Questions? Post em on! :) Junyi |
