post entry / upload photos Monday, March 31, 2008 hey girls my boss is in China now sourcing for many varieties of women's shoes such as slip-ons, sandals..there's also the schoolgirl type canvas version of ballerina flats and the greek-like footwear [hope you understand what i'm describing >.<] anyway when he comes back he's probably importing lots of them so i'm thinking of sending you guys the catalogue to see if you're interested in buying? who's not interested tell me so i know not to send you. haha. hotel waitressing tends to be more demanding since it's expected to be more professional [and it has good pay too..better than most admin jobs!] so they probably look down on newbies more? Siobhan Wednesday, March 05, 2008 sara - what a cool job! are you a writer? yes, i applied for it it was mostly luck though, I didn't even know what I was getting into. (actually i submitted my resume to my dad's lawyer, who presumably sent it to D&N, who then called me) siob - a typical intern does research (although it rarely goes towards the case), proofreads, and tags along. but he's making me *write* the letter of demand! it's usually the job of first year lawyers (important saikang workers). working in the law firm is kinda scary, because everything you do affects a real person's life. sometimes very drastically. I'm in litigation, currently working on criminal cases. =/ Charmaine it seems like everyone is living a super exciting life haha. pau pau i thought your contract with the company in tuas ends in june?? and mq-congrats on finding a better deal!haha. sara, your job sounds interesting! what do you actually do? charm- what test is it? man i miss talking to you guys haha. Siew Ching sio are you going overseas or something?? i also heard that the results are released so late because our batch did very badly and there had to be some moderation :/ ughs. even my MOTHER heard that rumour from her colleague. so i guess it's true >.< Miao Qin geordie you dont have anything to worry about! does anyone know how i can go about getting someone else to collect the results for me? is there any form that i need to sign or something?
